£35.00
Tax included.

Celebrate the summer solstice with a fun, relaxing watercolour session at Gullane Recreation Hall (behind the Village Hall).

This is a MIDWEEK session on WEDNESDAY, 21st June, from 10:00 - 13:00.

Create a whimsical atmospheric piece inspired by the folklore of the Oak King (the Green Man).

Warm up with beautiful vignettes celebrating the sun as it rises and sets across the land and seascape this summer solstice.

Create unique watercolour greeting cards and vignettes for friends and family!

This session is for ALL LEVELS and is an ideal opportunity to practice techniques covered in the introduction session. Local artist Kat Healy will support and encourage everyone.

---

Plenty of prompts and how-to sheets will be available, and you will be encouraged to explore your creative voice. Enjoy the process of mark-making, learning new techniques and experimenting with various materials and textures.

Ideal for beginners or those who want to revisit the basics!

Under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

-----

The cost of the session includes materials (high-quality artist-grade watercolour paper and paints) and a reusable watercolour palette that you can take home with any excess paint to practice with. Refreshments will be available throughout.

Enjoy a mindful moment of creativity, and take home an original piece you can be proud of.
